S&T to host athletic events throughout weekend

Missouri S&T will have home athletic events for three consecutive days this week, beginning with a home basketball doubleheader Thursday, Jan. 17, against Quincy University.
The women’s game between the top two teams in the GLVC West Division will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 7:30 p.m. at the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building. The Lady Miners and Miners will face the University of Illinois Springfield Saturday, Jan. 19, in an afternoon twinbill, starting with the women’s game at 1 p.m. The men’s contest will follow at 3 p.m.
In between the two basketball doubleheaders, the Missouri S&T swimming team will hold a home meet at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, against Southern Illinois University at the S&T Pool in the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building. Admission is free to Friday’s meet.
