As the seasons change, insects always manage to find their way indoors. Physical facilities and custodial and landscape services have an integrated pest management (IPM) program in place to deal with pests when they move indoors to buildings on campus. Because individuals working and studying on campus have varying levels of sensitivity to chemical pest treatments, spraying facilities for insects is considered to be the last course of action. If physical facilities determines that chemical pest treatment may be recommended, building leaders will be asked to endorse the option before it takes place. Learn more about the IPM program.
