Funeral arrangements for Peter Kinyon

Peter Kinyon of Rolla, a strong supporter of Missouri S&T, the Miner football program and the Miner Alumni Association, died Tuesday, Nov. 13. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Christ Episcopal Church, 1000 Main St., in Rolla. No visitation is planned. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of James and Gahr in Rolla.
Mr. Kinyon and his late wife, Betty, gave $250,000 to the athletics department to support the football program. In recognition of his generous gift to the Hasselmann Alumni House, half of the Grand Hall will be named in his honor.
Mr. Kinyon was an active member of the Rolla Lions Club and Christ Episcopal Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to Christ Episcopal Church.
