EMSE chili cook-off, Halloween contest winners announced

The engineering management and systems engineering department thanks everyone who participated in their Halloween costume contest and chili cook-off on Oct. 31. This year there were 21 chili entries and numerous costumes. The department raised $343 for GRACE (Greater Rolla Area Community Enterprise), a more than $100 increase from last year’s total. The winners were:
- Traditional chili: Carlton Washburn, graduate student in engineering management
- Non-traditional chili: Lori Miller, Ph.D. student in engineering management
- Costume contest: Dustin Nottage, Ph.D. student in systems engineering (dressed as a minion from the film Despicable Me)
The EMSE department looks forward to hosting this event again next year and invites everyone to consider cooking up some chili for charity.
