Two distinguished math research seminars offered this week

Faculty and students are invited to attend two presentations in the Distinguished Research Seminar Series by Professor H.T. Banks from the mathematics department at North Carolina State University. Banks is an expert on uncertainty in mathematical modeling and inverse problems:
- “What Do Mosquitofish, Shrimp and Proliferating CD4+ T-Cells Have in Common?” is geared toward a general audience and will be held from 4-5:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, in Room 101 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall.
- “Mathematical Modeling of Human Lymphocyte Proliferation with CFSE” will be held from 3-4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, in Room 101 Emerson Hall.
