Turkish Republic Ball to be held Nov. 3

The Turkish Student Association will host a Turkish Republic Ball from 6-11:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Benton Square. The event celebrates the formation of the modern Turkish nation by the Mustafa Kemal Ataturk with live music, history, dancing, poetry and food. Tickets are $7 each and will be on sale in Havener Center atrium Thursday, Oct. 25, and Monday, Oct. 29, through Friday, Nov. 2.
