Nominate the next ‘One Book’

The One Book Advisory Committee will convene in early November to choose the book for the fall 2013 through spring 2015 One Book Program cycle. To nominate a book for consideration, email the title and author to Kate Drowne. The book must be non-fiction and meet the following criteria:
- Accessible and engaging to students
- Socially relevant and intellectually rigorous
- Address issues of personal relevance
- Engaging to faculty and viable for classroom use
- No longer than 400 pages
- Written by a living author willing to visit the Missouri S&T campus
All nominated books that meet the above criteria will be seriously considered by the committee. Please note, however, that best-selling authors usually command speaking fees far beyond the reach of the One Book Program’s limited budget.
