How do you know your students are learning?

The second session of the Fall 2012 Curators’ Teaching Summit, “How Do You Know That Your Students Are Learning?,” will be held at noon Monday, Oct. 15, in St. Pat’s Ballroom A of the Havener Center. Lunch will be provided. RSVP to hagnid@mst.edu by Monday, Oct. 8, and list any dietary restrictions. This series will explore the following topics:

  • What are different ways to assess what students are learning?
  • How well do grades measure what students have learned?
  • How can you align teaching strategies and assessment?
  • How do you use assessment to improve teaching and learning?

The final session will be held at noon on Nov. 12.
This is the second of a three-part series featuring the campus’ Curators’ Teaching Professors and sponsored by CERTI, the Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation.
