Home front security: Is your home network secured?

When setting up a wireless network at home, always remember to change the router default password. This password is used to log into the device and control the router’s settings. And remember, whether you use WEP or WPA, using a wireless encryption vastly increases your wireless security at home.
This month, IT recognizes National Cyber Security Awareness Month. Throughout October, IT will raise awareness of important cyber security and safety issues to help you. Safe practices are a shared responsibility.
