The Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies will host a research seminar from 4-5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, in Room 124 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Dr. Suzanna Long, assistant professor of engineering management, will present “Complex Adaptive Systems Solutions for Transportation Infrastructure Development” and Dr. Mohammed Elgawady, assistant professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering will present “Disaster-Resilient Bridges Using Concrete-Filled FRP Tubes.” Bagels and coffee will be served before the seminar. All faculty and students are invited to attend.
