The PeopleSoft accounts used to identify accounting transactions as revenues and expenses in the general ledger and that display financial data in university financial reports changed at the beginning of this fiscal year on July 1. On Nov. 1, many PeopleSoft accounts not included in the new chart of transaction accounts will be unavailable for use.
A listing of PeopleSoft account values that will be made inactive is available through a link in the “What’s New” section on the accounting/fiscal services website. The listing also provides recommended replacement account values. A link to the complete new chart of accounts is also available on accounting’s website.
