Get a taste of mindfulness
Interested in having a mindful relationship to your food, your body, and your life but often forget your good intentions? Consider hooking up with the social media support community called Tasting Mindfulness. Created and maintained by Dr. Lynn Rossy at Healthy for Life, the wellness program for faculty and staff, it is designed to support you in your quest for a happier, healthier lifestyle. Million Step Pedometer Program
This ongoing program is designed for the University of Missouri’s faculty and staff to get moving by counting their steps. For $15, participants will receive a pedometer and a log book. Once you reach one million steps, you get to keep the pedometer and you’ll receive a T-shirt, a certificate and a $15 refund. There are a variety of prizes for every additional million steps you take — no limit. To enroll, contact email@example.com.
Ride to Wellness Program
This program is designed for the University of Missouri’s faculty and staff to get moving by counting their miles. For $20, participants will receive an odometer and a log book. Once you reach 500 miles, you get to keep the odometer and you’ll receive a T-shirt, a certificate and a $20 refund. There are a variety of prizes for every additional 500 miles — no limit.
