University Police reminds students riding bikes on campus to practice safe cycling. When riding on sidewalks, cyclists should yield the right-of-way to pedestrians, slowing down as they pass.
Bikes are not allowed in campus buildings. Bikes should be locked when not in use and must secured to official bicycle racks only. Bikes chained to trees, poles, benches and other objects will be subject to seizure by University Police.
Pedestrians are asked to please use crosswalks and tunnels when crossing the street. Before entering the road, look both ways and make sure approaching vehicles are slowing to stop.
