Single tickets for all shows in Leach Theatre’s 2012-13 season — including the season opener “Whose Live Anyway?” — will go on sale at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20. If you can’t come to the box office window (located inside the 10th Street entrance of Castleman Hall), you may order your tickets online or by calling the box office at 573-341-4219. Processing fees apply to online and telephone orders. Both performances of “Whose Live Anyway?” are expected to sell out in advance.
The performances will be held on Monday, Sept. 10, with shows at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Originally titled “A Night of Improv,” “Whose Live Anyway?” sold out its first two shows in under three hours to enthusiastic crowds at Vancouver, Canada’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre in 1999.
The show’s executive producer and star Ryan Stiles expanded the number of appearances to include many major cities in the western United States and Canada, where it has remained a consistent sell-out.
Ninety minutes of improvised comedy and song based on audience suggestions stars Stiles, Greg Proops, Chip Esten and Jeff B. Davis from the hit TV show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?.” Be sure to bring your suggestions and you might be asked to join the cast onstage.
