A campuswide reception honoring Dr. Harvest Collier will be held from 1:30-3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, in St. Pat’s C of the Havener Center. Collier, vice provost for undergraduate studies and chemistry professor, is retiring after 30 years of service to the university and will relocate to Collierville, Tenn. He has served in many roles at S&T — professor, chair of the chemistry department, associate dean for the College of Arts and Sciences, vice provost for undergraduate and graduate studies, and vice provost of undergraduate studies. All faculty, staff and students are invited to stop by to wish him well.
