First free film is The Descendants

The first offering in the Fall 2012 Free Film Festival, The Descendants, will be shown at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, in Leach Theatre. The film is free and open to the public. George Clooney plays an indifferent husband and father of two girls who is forced to re-examine his past and embrace his future when his wife is injured in a boating accident. The 2011 film is rated R.
