Cancer survivor benefit for employee’s wife this weekend

A benefit has been planned for Kimberley (Wagers) Haffer, who has been battling breast cancer since 2008. She is the wife of Randy Haffer, system administrator-specialist in information technology. The benefit will be held from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Sullivan Eagles Hall. Tickets are $8 each, which includes a pasta dinner, live music and games for the kids. Children 5 and under are free. Dinner will be served from 2-8 p.m., with a silent auction beginning at 6 p.m. Directions to the Sullivan Eagles Hall:

  • I-44 to exit 226 in Sullivan
  • North Outer Road east
  • Left on Acid Mine Road. The Eagles Hall will be about one mile on the right.
