Open forums will be held next week for three candidates applying for the position of director of admissions at Missouri S&T.
Each candidate will speak on the topic of “developing and implementing a national recruitment plan for Missouri S&T.” The campus community is invited to attend the forums.
The schedule is as follows:
Monday, July 16, 1:30 p.m., in the Missouri Room of the Havener Center – Timothy L. Albers, former associate vice president for enrollment management and director of admissions at Western State College of Colorado, Gunnison, Colo. A member of the Western State College enrollment management staff from 2000 through 2012, Albers previously served as director of admissions at Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kan., and as senior associate director of admissions for the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo.
Tuesday, July 17, 1:30 p.m., in St. Pat’s Ballroom C of the Havener Center – Lynn Stichnote, interim director of admissions at Missouri S&T. A 23-year member of the S&T staff, Stichnote previously served as director of student financial assistance from 2008 until June 2012 and as director of admissions from 2002 through 2008. She previously held positions in admissions as well as alumni and constituent relations.
Thursday, July 19, 1:30 p.m., in the Carver Room of the Havener Center – Dawn Medley, former director of recruitment and vice president of enrollment services for the Forest Institute, Springfield, Mo., since 2008. Medley served as director of admissions at the University of Arkansas from 2003 to 2008 and previously held positions at Southeast Missouri State University (associate director of admissions) and Missouri S&T (admissions representative and coordinator).
