PeopleSoft accounts to change

The PeopleSoft accounts used to identify accounting transactions as revenues and expenses in the general ledger and that display financial data in university financial reports will change beginning in FY13 (July 1). This new account structure has been used as FY13 budgets were established during the recent months.
The university’s revised chart of accounts is available through a link under the “What’s New” section on the accounting/fiscal services website.
Departments are encouraged to review the changes to the PeopleSoft accounts and make any adjustments necessary to their accounting practices. Please direct any questions to accounting/fiscal services at 341-4189.
