The last day to register for the first session of the Camp Invention Program (July 9-13) and receive the staff discount rate of $165 is today, Wednesday, June 27.
Missouri S&T will host the nationwide Camp Invention program; an exciting summer day experience for children entering grades one through six, in two separate week-long sessions this summer.
University employees are eligible for a $50 discount off the regular $215 fee for their children to attend the Envision Program, will be held July 9-13, or the Encounter Program, will be held July 30-Aug. 3.
Children will participate in four inventive modules each day, including the always popular “I Can Invent: Balloon Burst,” where they will design and create their own inventions.
The Missouri S&T Center for Pre-College Programs will oversee the camp with a staff of local teachers and counselors leading the modules. Classes are scheduled each day from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
