CIES to host research seminar today

The Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies (CIES) will host a research seminar from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, in Room 121 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Dr. Kamal Khayat, director of the CIES and the Vernon and Maralee Jones Endowed Professor of Civil Engineering will present “Formwork Pressure Exerted by Self-Consolidating Concrete.” Ruili He, a graduate research assistant advised by Dr. Lesley Sneed, will also present “Rapid Repair of Severely Damaged RC Columns under Combined Loading with Externally Bonded CFRP.” Cookies and coffee will be served. All faculty and students are encouraged to attend.
