Three faculty to present at humanities celebration

Join Missouri S&T in “Celebrating Excellence in the Humanities” at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 9, in Room 140 Toomey Hall. This is the fifth year that the campus will spotlight the research excellence of faculty members in the departments of arts, languages, and philosophy; English and technical communication; and history and political science. Three faculty members will present:

  • Robert Cesario, director of bands and orchestra, will present “A Day on the Farm” and “Uni Phillipiana,” two unpublished works for band by Ferde Grofe
  • Anne Cotterill, associate professor of English, will present “Early Modern England and the Demonic North”
  • John McManus, associate professor of history, will present “September Hope: The American Side of a Bridge Too Far”

The event is open to the public.
