CIES to host research seminar on Wednesday

The Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies will host a research seminar from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, in Room 121 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Dr. Soo-Duck Hwang from the Université de Sherbrooke will present “Design and Construction of Self-Consolidating Concrete for Precast, Prestressed Concrete Bridge Members,” followed by a presentation by Jack Gibbons, central region manager for the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute. Cookies and coffee will be served. All faculty and students are encouraged to attend. Presentation abstracts are available here.
