Missouri S&T’s Booster Club will hold its annual trivia night and silent auction on Saturday, April 28, at the Lion’s Club Den, and its golf tournament the following week on Monday, May 7, at Oak Meadow Country Club.
Bidding for the silent auction items will begin at 7 p.m. and the trivia contest is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. The cost of the event is $100 per table — for up to eight people per team — or $12.50 each for individuals. Players may bring their own snacks to the event and there will be a cash bar available.
For more information, contact Booster Club president Scott Caron at 573-341-2386; for auction items, contact Nancy Lentz at 573-234-2478 or Jim Standfast at 573-201-7091. To reserve a table for the event, contact the Missouri S&T athletics office at 573-341-4175.
The golf tournament will begin with lunch at 11:30 a.m., with a shotgun start for the four-man scramble just after 1 p.m. on May 7. The cost is $100 to play, with sponsorship opportunities available running from $100 to $500. For more information on the golf tournament, contact Joe Gorman at 573-465-5009 or at email@example.com.
The net proceeds from the two events are designed to provide essential support for the men’s and women’s athletic teams at Missouri S&T.
