Artist to lecture prior to free films

Dr. Lampo Leong, the 2012 Maxwell C. Weiner Distinguished Professor of Humanities at S&T, will begin Tuesday’s Spring 2012 Free Film Festival with a lecture beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, in Leach Theatre. Leong will cover the concepts and techniques of his award winning abstract oil paintings, followed by three videos, two animations based on his paintings and photography, and a multi-media performance video.
