Student from Chinese partner institute admitted to Stanford

A student who graduated from S&T’s partner institute, China University of Petroleum (CUP) in Huadong, has been admitted to the Ph.D. program at Stanford University with a full scholarship. Junzhe Sun participated in the 2+2 program with an emphasis in geophysics. He also received offers for full scholarships from Rice University and the University of Texas-Austin.
