Tuesday will mark the first Legislative Day for Missouri S&T Chancellor Cheryl B. Schrader and new UM System President Tim Wolfe. The Missouri S&T community is invited to join these two leaders at the State Capitol in Jefferson City, along with other faculty, staff, students and alumni, to show support for higher education and our university’s importance to the state of Missouri.
Legislative Day will be held from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday at the Capitol. Members of the S&T community are invited to join Chancellor Schrader for a complimentary continental breakfast at 8 a.m. just outside Sen. Dan Brown’s office, Room 434 of the Capitol (on the Senate side). University displays will be presented for viewing by legislators and the public beginning at 9 a.m. in the Third Floor Rotunda, and a University of Missouri Rally begins at 9:30 a.m. in the First Floor Rotunda. S&T supporters may then visit with legislators from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
