Professional development events calendar updated

An updated calendar of professional development events for instructors for spring semester 2012 is now available.
Additions to the original calendar include a Faculty Learning Community on the topic of “Surprising Uses of PowerPoint to Increase Student Engagement” on Feb. 17, a “Meet your eMentors” luncheon sponsored by UM System eLearning on March 7, and “The Ongoing Impact of Clickers at Missouri S&T” on April 6. The calendar is the result of the collaboration of the following offices: academic advising, CERTI, EdTech, new faculty programs and sponsored programs.
