Next free film is The Red Shoes

The first offering in the Free Spring 2012 Film Festival will be The Red Shoes, scheduled to be shown at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, in Leach Theatre. The film is free and open to the public. The 1948 piece centers on a ballet performance of Hans Christian Andersen’s dark fairy tale, where a ballerina is torn between her love for a ballet director and a composer. The film is not rated.
