Clickers the topic of Jan. 27 presentation

Faculty who use clickers in their classrooms as well as those interested in learning more about this technology are invited to “Writing Good Clicker Questions,” scheduled for noon Friday, Jan. 27, in Room 208 Norwood Hall. RSVP for this brown bag event to Diane Hagni at hagnid@mst.edu.


Klaus Woelk, winner of the 2011 UM System Innovative Teaching Award and interim chair of S&T’s chemistry department, will discuss how clicker questions can achieve a variety of student outcomes, ranging from helping students recall content to nurturing critical thinking skills.
This brown bag Faculty Learning Community is hosted by CERTI (Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation) and educational technology. Dessert and drinks will be provided. For more information on faculty events this semester, go online.
