Enrollment is open for the Spring 2012 Accent Modification Program. Classes are designed to improve communication skills in the classroom, as well as overall presentation ability. Classes are conducted on an individual basis for a 13-week period by Vicki Hopgood, speech/language pathologist. Topics covered include American intonation, difficult vowels and consonants, classroom presentation skills, grammar and vocabulary. There is no charge for this service. Interested tenured or tenure-track faculty should obtain a referral from their department chair and then enroll directly with Hopgood at hopgoodv@mst.edu.
