Tuesday’s free film is Even the Rain

The next offering in the 2011 Free Fall Film Festival is Even the Rain, which will be shown at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, in Leach Theatre. A Spanish director and crew film a movie about Christopher Columbus using local Bolivian actors, but soon find themselves embroiled in conflict over the privatization of the water supply. The 2010 film is in Spanish with English subtitles and will be introduced by Jorge Porcel, assistant professor of Spanish. Rated PG-13, the screening is free and open to the public.
