The Curtis Laws Wilson Library is creating a memorial collection focused on Indian cricket to honor the four Indian students killed in an automobile accident in May. The collection will include material on the history of cricket in India, Indian cricket player biographies, information about coaching youth cricket and more. Each item in the collection will contain a book plate honoring the students. A copy of the book plate and a letter of explanation will be sent to the students’ families in India.

The library plans to enhance and update its existing Indian collection to include more popular and leisure materials, including Indian fiction and books about food and cooking. The library will also be enlarging its film collection to include more popular Tollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood films.
The library staff hopes that this enhanced collection will serve as a cultural bridge between the Missouri S&T campus and the local community.
