Mass notification testing completed for fall semester

Missouri S&T conducted two tests of its mass notification system this semester – first on Sept. 7 and again on Sept. 21. The mass notification system is designed to alert S&T students, faculty and staff of an emergency or critical incident and consists of email, text and voice notification to those who have signed up for the alerts. All students, faculty and staff should receive an email notification, regardless of whether they have signed up for the mass notification system.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to become familiar with Missouri S&T’s Emergency Action Plan, available online at http://police.mst.edu/eap/index.html, as well as the Emergency Operations Plan, which is available online at http://police.mst.edu/eop/index.html.
Students, faculty and staff who have not signed up for the mass notification system may do so by visiting http://alert.mst.edu/emergencyalertsystem.html.
