It’s not too late to register for Focus on Teaching and Technology conference

There’s still time to register for the 2011 Focus on Teaching and Technology Conference. This annual regional conference is scheduled for Nov. 10-11, at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. For program details and registration, go to www.umsl.edu/ctl/fttc.htm.


Scholars, educators and practitioners from numerous universities will share their online innovations and teaching experiences. This year’s conference will feature two keynote presentations:

  • Thursday, Nov. 10: Tom Mills, executive director of global education with Google will present “Going Google”
  • Friday, Nov. 11: Dr. Michele DiPietro, executive director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at Kennesaw State University will present “Understanding the learning process as the gateway to smart teaching”

Choose from 24 concurrent sessions and nine pre-conference workshops during the two-day conference. Thanks to sponsors, the concurrent sessions are free. The two-hour pre-conference workshops are $20 each, which includes lunch.
