St. Louis representative to speak at Constitution Day tomorrow

Rep. Jeanette Mott Oxford will be the speaker for this year’s Constitution Day scheduled from noon-1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, in Room 204 McNutt Hall. Constitution Day is celebrated nationally in observance of the writing of the nation’s founding document. Oxford will discuss the evolving nature of constitutional questions. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a master of divinity from Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Groves, Mo. Oxford represents the 59th House district in St. Louis.
