Local green initiatives presentation Sept. 8

Brady Wilson, director of environmental services for the city of Rolla, will give a presentation titled “Eco-Impact: Local Opportunities” at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, in St. Pat’s C of the Havener Center. Wilson will explain many of the green initiatives supported by Rolla, including recycling. The talk is in conjunction with the One Book Program, which is promoting Colin Beavan’s book No Impact Man. This event is free and open to the public. Instructors are asked to encourage students to attend.
