‘Green S&T: Bet You Never Knew…’

Dr. Joel Burken, professor of civil, architectural and environmental Engineering, will give a presentation called “Green S&T: Bet You Never Knew…” at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, in St. Pat’s B of the Havener Center. Burken will discuss the many green initiatives going on at Missouri S&T and the variety of ways students and other members of the S&T community can get involved and make a difference in the greening of our campus and beyond. This presentation is sponsored by the English and technical communication department’s One Book Program, which has chosen Colin Beavan’s No Impact Man as its common text for the year. Burken’s presentation is free and open to the public.
