Encourage troops, write a letter

In observance of Labor Day and the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance, student life and residential life are giving individuals a chance to write to soldiers overseas. There are a number of soldiers who serve our country that do not receive much, if any, mail, so this is a great opportunity to encourage our troops and possibly get to know someone new. Tables will be set up in the atrium of the Havener Center from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, and Thursday, Sept. 8, and in the Student Involvement and Leadership Center from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. now through Thursday, Sept. 9. If any faculty or staff members know of soldiers who would like to receive mail, submit their address to Malinda Love at lovemc@mst.edu.
