Sophomore welcome is Aug. 24

The office of the vice provost for undergraduate studies has invited incoming second-year students to attend the 2011 Sophomore Welcome at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. The program will include an opportunities fair, a panel discussion with successful and involved upperclassmen and a pinning ceremony and address by Dr. Harvest Collier, vice provost for undergraduate studies.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a new S&T tradition, reconnect with friends, enjoy refreshments and win door prizes, including a $100 gift card to the Missouri S&T Bookstore.
