The Spirit of Change is a movement of students inspiring students which began during 2010 Opening Week. Last year, during Opening Week and the first week of school, students donated more than $1,800 to the Spirit of Change fund. All proceeds go back to help S&T students throughout the semester when they least expect it. Whether it is a free cup of coffee, an umbrella in the rain, cupcakes after a mid-term test, or helping with a financial need, the Spirit of Change movement seeks to inspire even more students to help their peers in 2011.

Donations will again be collected during Opening Week and the first week of school. A fountain will be located near the Puck. If you have extra change, feel free to drop it in the fountain. All proceeds collected will go back to the students to help make a difference in their lives during the semester.
