Join the “blitz build” June 25

Habitat for Humanity of Phelps County and its Missouri S&T campus chapter invite community members to participate in a “Blitz Build” on Saturday, June 25. During the blitz, volunteers build up the house from a foundation by helping to put up the framing and complete the exterior of the home. This is the Phelps County affiliate’s eighth build since its founding in 1996.
The event will be held in Rolla at the Habitat property on Maple Wood Drive. It will begin at 8 a.m. and run until 4 p.m. Two shifts of volunteers are needed, from 8 a.m.-noon and noon-4 p.m.
To volunteer, contact Habitat of Humanity of Phelps County at 573-368-5110. Leave your name and phone number and the volunteer coordinator will contact you with more details. Everyone is welcome to participate.
