Must we exterminate the Martians?

Dr. Dale L. Sullivan, Distinguished Weiner Visiting Professor in English and Technical Communication, will present “Must We Exterminate the Martians? C.S. Lewis’ Response to the Futurists.” The lecture will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21, in the Meramec-Gasconade Room of the Havener Center.
Sullivan will argue the ideas early futurists had about superhumans, space travel, colonization of other planets and the recurrent topic of what the superhuman races should do about inferior human races, or “undermen,” on this planet.
