Three Missouri S&T faculty members are among 10 from the four University of Missouri campuses to be selected for the 2011 President’s Awards. The awards will be presented at the UM Board of Curators meeting in June. But earlier this week, Dr. Christa Weisbrook, faculty fellow with the UM System vice president for academic affairs, visited the S&T campus to recognize the three S&T faculty who will receive the awards. They are:

  • Dr. Mohamed Rahaman, professor of materials science and engineering, who will receive the President’s Award for Inter-Campus Collaboration
  • Dr. Richard Stephenson, professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering, who will receive the President’s Award for Cross-Cultural Engagement
  • Dr. Klaus Woelk, associate professor of chemistry, who will receive the President’s Award for Innovative Teaching.
