Learn best lab practices

CERTI will host “Best Practices for Conducting Lab Courses, A Faculty Active Learning Community” at noon Wednesday, Feb. 23, in Room 208 Norwood Hall (please note this is a change in location). Presenters include Cynthia Bolon from chemistry, Terry Wilson from biological sciences and Jeff Thomas from civil engineering. The discussion is open to all instructors and will include:
- What students learn in lab courses
- Innovations in delivering quality learning experiences
- Interactions between graduate students and undergraduate students
- Need for appropriate TA training
- Laboratory facilities and equipment
Dessert and drinks will be provided; participants are welcome to bring their lunch. RSVP to the Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation at certi@mst.edu or hagnid@mst.edu.
