ROTC air rifle teams compete in St. Louis

Twenty-seven air rifle teams representing 10 Army ROTC programs participated in the Gateway Battalion Air Rifle Competition Jan. 21-22 in St. Louis. Missouri S&T had three teams in the competition. Some teams traveled from as far away as North Dakota. The top Missouri S&T team placed fourth overall. A team from the University of North Dakota won the event.
Cadet Anamarie Gaitan (Air Force ROTC) from S&T finished fourth overall in the individual standings. Other competitors from S&T included: William Cluck, Air Force ROTC; John Edwards, Army ROTC; Timothy Kinealy, Army ROTC; Joseph Maxwell, Army ROTC; Andrew McKay, Army ROTC; Duston O’Brien, Air Force ROTC; Samuel Sutton, Army ROTC; Wade Waldmann, Air Force ROTC; and Andrew Yost, Army ROTC.
