Next free film is The Purple Rose of Cairo

Woody Allen’s enchanting tribute to the magic of movies stars Mia Farrow as a Depression-era waitress and Jeff Daniels as her favorite film star who literally steps off the screen and enters her life. The Purple Rose of Cairo will be shown at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall as part of the 2010 Free Fall Film Festival. The film is rated PG.
