Winter Student Leadership Award nominees sought

Nominations are now being sought for Winter Student Leadership Awards. Students eligible for the awards exhibit one or more of the “Five Practices of Exemplary Student Leadership,” which are that they model the way, inspire a shared vision, challenge processes, enable others to act or encourage the heart. There are five categories for awards: student organization officer, student organization member, resident life resident, student worker and residential life employee.
To nominate a candidate, please send a 100-word essay detailing the nominee’s contributions and reasons that make him or her the most qualified to win a Student Leadership Award. Deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12. Nominations may be submitted to Jerri Arnold-Cook in the leadership and cultural programs at arnoldcookj@mst.edu or Room 304 Norwood Hall.
