Final Curators’ Teaching Summit is Nov. 15

The third and final session of this year’s Curators’ Teaching Summit will be held at noon Monday, Nov. 15, in Ballroom C of Havener Center. The topic is “Balancing Teaching and Research: A Campus Perspective.” Robert Schwartz, vice provost for academic affairs; Steve Clark, past chair of the Campus Promotion and Tenure Review Committee; and Kelvin Erickson, chair of the Department Chairs Committee and electrical and computer engineering, will serve as panelists.
CERTI is sponsoring this summit, which will address questions regarding the campus’ perspective on the balance between teaching and research relative to promote and tenure, as well as the role department chairs play in this process.
