Members of the engineering management and systems engineering department at Missouri S&T were honored at a recent American Society of Engineering Management national conference held Oct. 13-16 in Rogers, Ark. Dr. Benjamin Dow, associate teaching professor, and Dr. William Daughton, professor and chair of the department, received the Franklin B. W. Woodbury Special Service Award for their work to transition the engineering manager certification from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers to ASEM. S&T’s ASEM student chapter, advised by Dr. Elizabeth Cudney, assistant professor, received the Founders Award for outstanding student chapter.
